Come Rain or Come Shine - Lisa and Elad
Lisa and Elad were married before their family and friends in a beautiful ceremony at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. I could not get over the breathtaking waterfront view of Baltimore's city skyline, which proved to be the perfect backdrop for portraits of a perfect couple.
One of my favorite moments of the day was in the bridal suite as Lisa was getting ready. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, Lisa spontaneously yells out, "I'm getting married!" Lisa was such a beautiful bride, not because of the dress, makeup or gorgeous up-do, but because she had the radiant glow of a woman in love about to marry the love of her life.
Both Lisa and Elad were all smiles the whole day. A few dark clouds in the sky and a little rain did nothing to dampen the spirit of their special day. You learn a lot about a couple when stressful situations arise and what I learned about them was that, rain or shine, as long as they have each other nothing else really matters.
The wedding party made their way down the aisle to the soft sounds of Jake Leckie's Jazz Trio, and exchanged vows under the chuppah using Lisa's great-grandmother's wedding ring. Elad brewed a special batch of summer ale called Matrimoniale and surprised us all by serenading his new bride with a song he wrote especially for her. They really personalized the day so that it was uniquely theirs.
